Quorn Sausages 336G - Tesco Groceries

I want a really great sausage for Christmas dinner, everything I’ve had isn’t Christmassy enough if you know what I mean? Mushroom based, sweet potato based, some with rice in... all delicious stuff but doesn’t quite go on a cooked dinner!
I don’t remember what brands I’ve tried exactly because my mother buys our food and prepares it, but if you mention something I’ll ask her about it and see what she thinks! Preferably something from Asda/Tesco but we do also have an m&s nearby that we’ve never been to and a Sainsbury’s a few miles away.
If you also have a joint you can recommend id be open to that, too. We’ve decided we’re having the veggie roast by Quorn cause we really enjoy that one but if there’s better options out there we’re happy to give them a go!!

Hello! Long term lurker, first time poster. I noticed a lot of the really good meat-free options are exclusively in America so I wanted to mention some tasty substitutes which are in the UK. Hope this may be useful!

VBites Meat-Free Lamb Style Donner Kebab

Carbohydrates per 100g: 6.4g Per portion: I counted 7 strips in my packet but they may vary. I've used 2 slices per portion as my preference. 6.4/7 = 0.9 x 2 = 1.8g
I haven't had lamb in over a decade so I can't comment on how realistic this tastes but I think it's delicious. If you fry it in olive oil it develops a nice crispy edge while still being soft and chewy in the middle.

Quorn Bacon Rashers

Carbohydrates per 100g: 1.5 Per portion: I counted 8 rashers in my packet and I use 2 at a time. 1.5/4 = 0.4g
I haven't had bacon in years so I can't really compare but I liked these.
Available at most supermarkets. £1.50

Quorn Breakfast Sausage Patties

Carbohydrates per 100g: 5.8g Per portion: 5.8/4 = 1.5g
These are amazing for when you really crave something like a Sausage Egg McMuffin. I don't really know any good substitutes for the muffin so maybe it's best served with a fried/poached egg.

Quorn Wild Garlic and Parsley Sausages

Carbohydrates per 100g: 9g Per portion: 9 x 0.60 = 5.4g
These aren't as good as the others for low carb but they're really tasty for a treat. The instructions say grill but I recommend frying them to get that crispy skin effect.

I picked up some other bits which I'm happy to give feedback on after trying them if anyone is interested.

Hey! I'm new to this sub as a friend linked me when I publicly announced I'm going vegetarian from tomorrow. I'm from the UK and currently ordering ASDA which is mostly consisting of various Quorn products - sausages, burgers, chicken nuggets, mince.
