Casinos with coin pusher games

Does anyone know if there are any casinos in the New Orleans area that still have the coin pusher games that were big awhile ago? I know they're still pretty common in arcades but it's not the same as winning actual money. I haven't been able to find anything on the casinos' websites, but wasn't sure if I was missing some somewhere. Thanks!

Casino Findings

TL;DR It's entirely rigged against you in every way possible without being just outright saying "We're making you waste your time, buddy. Good luck though."
Coin Pusher is the only real way to make any sort of headway in accruing any tokens for prizes. Whoever made the One-Two-Hey! Game needs to be institutionalized.
After 5 hours of coin pusher grinding I've only gotten about 110,000 coins. That is ridiculously slow. I managed to score one whole !JACKPOT! which was a whopping 21,000 coins. The other values are a tease and are only designed to get your hopes up. If anyone claims to have gotten the 450,000 coin jackpot they're obviously lying and/or are a weather balloon.

*VALUES*
Coin: Worth 10g
Ring: Worth 100g
Party Cracker: 500g
Thingie what looks like a fancy CD Case: 1000g
Crown: 10000g
If there are any more than this I have no idea. Values are 3x in premium room.

**BUFFS**
1) Pusher Extender - You'll want this to Lv3 as much as possible, it reaches to about the 2nd Magic Pillar on max level.
2) Magic Pillar - Also want this to Lv3 as much as possible. It poops out a little guard that blocks off a section of gutter so you won't junk coins as much anymore.
3) Coin Fling Speed+ - I HATE THIS DAMNED "BUFF". It throws off my timing and is generally worthless EXCEPT for one fun facet. You can shoot falling treasure and monster miniatures

*** BOSS TIPS***
There are 4 fights total for each tier, 2 being negligible mid-bosses, 3rd fights being "bosses" (Dragonlord First form, Baramos, etc)
Dragonlord: !!!DO NOT LET HIM USE SCORCH!!! Scorch will obliterate the majority of treasure on the field. Spam spam spam and hope for the best.
Malroth: Gotta pay attention to this guy, team composition is important and will make or break you. Hellzapple has a fun effect of destroying your coins on the field, and placing a little electric doodad that will also destroy coins that slide into it. Best way to make progress with this boss is to spam skill usage by flinging coins as fast as possible.
Zoma: Same as above, except Kacrackle is hilariously beneficial to you. Sure it places a couple of blocks in the way, but it also flings coins EVERYWHERE, and most of the time, they'll end up in your bank. Zoma hurts. Skill spam as fast as humanly possible here if you want a chance at winning on first encounter.
---------------------------------

That's all the information I have for now. I will continue grinding this ridiculous shit until I get Goof Off. That being said, why are some things locked behind LEVEL 70 CASINO RANK?!

Flip-It (coin pusher) Machine search

For years now, my fiancé and I have enjoyed coin pusher style games at arcades with tokens. But now as we make more trips to Vegas each year, I want her to enjoy her favorite game in a casino setting, since she doesn’t enjoy the right slots that dot the Vegas area. Does anyone know if there’s a coin pusher machine in Vegas city limits???
EDIT: Found one in Green Bay, WI.

Wanted to share my story.

I am a compulsive gambler, in and out of gambling and recovery for 13 years. I just found this reddit and the after gambling podcast, and decided it might be good for me to share some of my story as a gambler. Thank you in advance for letting me share, and apologies if this is longer than the norm.
I've been exposed to gambling all of my life. My family always played nickel and dime poker during family functions and regularly went to the casino for bingo, slots, and blackjack. Looking back, I think it is fair to say that gambling addiction runs in my family, at least in varying degrees. I can recall my first experience of gambling when I was about 8 or 9 years old. I was on vacation with my family, visiting relatives in the Midwest. It was a small town and there was a local movie and video game rental store we went to that had a coin pusher with quarters. I had only seen ones in arcades that use tokens and tickets, and was very excited at the prospect of winning quarters. So. I put 4 or 5 quarters in that I had and just like that, what seemed like tons of quarters started pouring out. When it was done I only had about $5, but at that age, it was the most money I ever had. I showed my mom all the quarters and she congratulated me, and we went back to my grandma's house with our rented movies and games. I can still remember sitting on the living room floor counting the quarters over and over. I remember feeling the excitement and looking back, I think it was the same excitement I would feel as an adult winning at casino. A few days later it was time to head back home from vacation, but first we had to return the movies and games to the rental store. I remember thinking how I couldn't wait to play the coin pusher again and get more quarters. As any gambler knows is coming, I started by putting in just a few quarters. No luck. Then a few more and maybe got 1 or 2 back. A few more rounds, and before I knew it, my quarters were gone. I don't remember telling my mom I had lost the quarters, but I do remember feeling confused at why that had happened, because I had won the first time. I also remember a bit of depression and a sense of dread that I had done something wrong.
Fast forward to my 18th birthday. Back then casinos allowed players 18 and over, and it was sort of a rite of passage to be able to go to the casino with my family and some friends who were 18 already. I remember two clear instances. The first was playing bingo and slots with my family, and that this was just soemthing that you did for fun on the weekends. The other was going to the casino with my friend and playing nickel slots. Thinking back, that one sticks out with me because she told me we should cash out as soon as I won something, and I agreed only because I had a crush on her and didn't want her to think I was weird for not making the smart choice to cash out, but deep down I wanted to keep playing. If you had asked me back then, I would have said it's just entertainment, but looking back I can see that the addiction was already forming.
A few months later, casinos changed the minimum age to 21, so now on to my 21st birthday. By now I was in college with a good job and lots of money saved. My wife (girlfriend at the time) was not 21 but her siblings were and they took me out to play blackjack on my birthday. Again, I would not have considered myself addicted back then, it was just fun to gamble. But I think I also wasn't very aware of the concept of gambling addiction, so I didn't think much of it. Trips like these became more freuqent with fewer people, until I started going by myself. I remember being conservative with my bets and thinking that as long as I leave when I've won a little bit, I can do this all the time and make some extra money. Bets eventually got bigger, but that meant sometimes the wins got bigger. Let's face it, a gambler's biggest problem is not necessarily the losing, but the sporadic winning. If I lost 100% of the time, it would have probably gotten old fast, but it's those periodic wins that "make it all okay" and feed my addiction. Besides, when I did win, I was "smart" and walked away and used the money to pay bills and but groceries, so it was OK to take a loss once in a while. Of course those were all the lies I told myself to justify gambling. Eventually I ended up spending nearly all my savings in one trip. I remember that day especially. Because it was my first memory of believing the deception and thinking that I just need play more to win the losses back, and more importantly the deception that I just needed to get back to even and it would all be fine and I could stop gambling after that.
Eventually I got to the point where I would always play until I lose everything I came with, with the rare occasions that I left with winnings only because the sun was coming up and I needed to be in bed before anyone woke up or I had somewere important I had to be, like work, a wedding or birthday party, only to lose it again that night or the next. I'm still struggling with gambling to this day. Trying to get on the right path forward for recovery. Thanks for letting me share.

MTX, Gambling, Children and Adults

Sorry if you clicked this hoping for some kind of meme or jab at Jagex, that's not what I'm hoping to discuss today. Instead I'm wanting to take an objective look at all the drama that's been happening recently in terms of each of the subjects in the title and just exactly what it means as opposed to what many on the subreddit seem to think it means.
First of all, the elephant in the room. MTX. It's no secret that the drama kicked off because of a recent TH promo coupled with an article published by the BBC surrounding Jagex's recent dealings with the UK Parliament. The subject of the investigation was in regards to loot boxes being regulated in a similar manner to gambling and what should be done regarding children. The point I see a lot of people missing is that is dealing with two different aspects, one being addiction and the other being the impact on children.
In terms of addiction, the inquiry done was targeted towards young adults that have built up a significant debt due to spending in games. This means it was aimed at 18-30 year olds since 18 is when you can legally "be in debt" in the eyes of the UK law. The MP from the committee would go on to link this back to being potential harm for children because he could equate loot boxes to being a game of chance, ergo gambling, and being addictive in the same vein with the challenge to the government to essentially "prove him wrong".
On paper, he's not wrong about loot boxes being addictive and an issue for problem gamblers but where he could run into problems is when he's bringing children into the equation. His only link from what can be seen is that it's addictive but he never outlined what the potential harm to children themselves could be that's explicit to the addiction of loot boxes. I mention this because of the problem aspect of loot boxes comes from being able to buy them with real currency which in a digital age means a few things, gift cards or debit/credit cards.
This point becomes important because it addresses their accessiblity for minors to begin with and who is responsible for it. The most likely way minors will be purchasing loot boxes is through gift cards or their parent/guardian doing it for them, I know there's stories of kids buying stuff just because payment details were linked and they did it without permission or knowing what they were doing is wrong which frankly, is a parental responsibility to stop them doing it if they're not allowed to, so for the sake of this we will assume everything is ok with child and responsible adult to do this.
I know a lot of people will say just to ban loot boxes for children and all those problems are solved... but they're really not. As per above, the financial impact opportunity cannot be assessed the same way as it can for an adult because legally, minors cannot accumulate debt in their own name. They can do it in their parents/guardians name but this comes as a result of either poorly managed parenting or if for some reason, the parents don't care about it.
The last thing I'll put forward in terms of talking about the impact on children is what gambling laws already say and how they can be paralleled with loot boxes. There's no minimum age required for some types of machines that are low stakes like coin pushers or teddy grabbers which is pretty much like loot boxes. An individual loot box is very much low stakes most of the time and the fact that you're guaranteed to "win" is actually a plus compared to these machines where you can end up with literally nothing to show for it. If these machines made it past the restrictions for gambling laws, so can loot boxes on the same premises of being low stakes.
Now going back to addiction for adults, this is where we're likely to see any kind of movement because evidence has been shown that it can indeed be problematic if not managed properly. This is where the point cuts off since the ball was thrown to parliament to rebuttal however what is most likely to happen is companies will be required to address the possibility of addiction in the form of external help such as begambleaware which is required by online casinos to be shown.
People that are saying Jagex are scared of the government because of this inquiry are jumping to conclusions but that's really nothing new. I'm not saying any of this because I'm some kind of apologist but because instead I'd rather hope to stop some of the obsession that is honestly more unhealthy than anything MTX can throw at us.

10/25/16 State of the Arcade Address - odds and ends, new stuff, setting updates, etc.

Been a while since I've done one of these, and with all the political shit I've been seeing everywhere it reminded me I used to do these. So I sobered up enough from celebrating the two-year anniversary of the announcement of Mewtwo's return to Smash 4 to make this thread.
Play 3 Sports Games Free - as I covered in another post the "gold swipe" games are free with a $10 load any day of the week; this does stack with 2-for Tuesday. Someone going in with a $10 coupon should reasonably be able to get most if not all of that $10 in value back just off the promo. ROI goes down the more of these you do in a day (like with the Sam's vouchers since those are not restricted to 1/day) as you're only gonna get Super Shot at max jackpot once and Gridiron Blitz gets harder the more you hit it. But you can reasonably expect $5 in value back on a Tuesday load if you now what you're doing.
Crossy - so apparently 0.7, up by 14 on a win is the proper global. Fuck. On Wednesday it's still profitable but the per-hour is delving all the way down into Floppy Tickets territory unless you've caught it at a fairly low JP.
QD - Still hearing different things for global/current. My location is insisting that the standard everyone got used to originally is still the standard.
New games - apparently there's as many as six new games, and they're getting rid of High Casino and Derby Owners Club to make room. I bet if they took out D&B Downs and any remaining non-bonus game coin pushers they'd have room for even more. Really just hoping 1 or 2 out of the 6 is at least snipable to the level that Panda, Tippin', etc. are.
Video games - I saw a metric fuckton of new games these last couple of weeks. If you're a regular to this forum (read: not someone who just posts once or twice on a dummy account) PM me and I'll advise what to grab for flipping but you probably already know. I'm honestly very impressed with how many games have come in - and more specifically how many games have come in in multiples of 4, instead of just 2!
Nintendo stuff - Okay, let's be honest, this whole sub knows the WiiU has been the de facto standard of long-term AP. But eventually that's going to come to an end. The Nintendo Switch is going to come out in March, and there's no way the WiiU holds its value when it's not the newest console. I'm sure we're all wondering what the Switch will retail for, which model D&B will carry, and what the ticket rate will go for. I can only hope they don't go the way of Apple gear, PS4, XBone, where standard ticket value isn't close. But if I remember right pretty much all the Nintendo stuff that has come in, when it has come in has been close to the standard.
Zombie - for those that haven't seen the other thread on it Zombie got buffed. Honestly just glad to have it to where you can keep an eye on the JP value and know relatively closely when the E's going to pop out - and yay for not having to chase fucking 10s anymore.
Kristi - get your butt back here so we can get drunk off our asses and get your card racked up. :p When you're here fuck my per-hour.
Wondering when the holiday deals will get offered and if anything significant's going to come of them. Bring on Everyone's a Winner - especially if 2-for Tuesday is a forever thing and Tuesday loads stack with EAW.

Looking to purchase slot machines

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, so please point me in the right direction if anyone knows. I have a section of my gaming room that I'd really like to fill with 4-5 slot machines, and possibly pachinko and coin pusher machines. One of the games I'm interested in is the Bally game American Original. I used to play this game often, but it's no longer available at many casinos as far as I can tell. I see places online to buy it, but I'm not 100% sure what extras I'd need. I see that they come with a bill validator and that they're compatible with certain printers. I'd prefer that the slot machine could take and pay out in coins or tokens, rather than printing tickets. I'd also be interested in classics like Cleopatra, Texas Tea, possibly DaVinci Diamonds, Frog Princess, Enchanted Unicorn. Finally, the last game I'm having trouble finding at all is Red Hot 777's with the Spitfire Multiplier feature.
I'm not looking to gamble with any of these, they'd just be for my own enjoyment. I'd like them to pay out coins or tokens because that's what slot machines did when I was younger. If anyone has any idea where I could start looking, please let me know. I should note that I've contacted the people at the websites where these games are to be found, and the people seem unwilling to discuss anything regarding paying out coins or tokens. I've thought about it and I don't believe what I'm trying to do will have the right feel if the machine is not paying out coins. I appreciate any help that anyone is willing to give.
