A good story of using Kindle Fire Kids Edition with 4 year olds

There are lots of problems posted to this subreddit, I thought I would share some of my success with the Kindle Fire 7 and my 4 year old twin girls. Hopefully some here can share their experiences.
My girls love the tablets, but I've had to curate the content with an iron fist.
Here's how they're set up:
What do my girls do with the tablets?
Problems
What I would like to do
I strongly suspect I'll be replacing these with iPads when they get older, that will have its own challenges, although at least books will work... but until then, the girls love the tablets and the content is mostly positive and helpful.

Planning a November trip, Questions.

ok , I promise not your standard " will this be open?" questions. We're still under Corona Rules, this is known, and literally everything is up in the air in Vegas in regards to what will be available.

So, I'm turning 50 this year. As such, my wife and I who pre pandemic were fairly regular Visitors 1-2 times a year for several years running have been staying home, with the exception of one pre craziness trip last June. Realizing afterwards that particular trip was a bad decision, we decided to hold off until Nov of this year for my 50th. We invited a few couples as well, thinking that we would be able to make a group trip of folks, hopefully in a much better corona managed Vegas by then. As it stands we have 6 folks, 3 couples definite, with 3-6 other folks holding off until we see how the virus restrictions are doing in NV. Obviously, we want to start some light planning around hotels, exploring what is needed for group rates if possible, and some other options. Our group is planning 4 nights, 5 days and my wife and I usually stay at the Venetian, but we are open to other upscale venues ( Aria, Cosmo, Wynn ) for the group depending on rates, etc ( We are not opposed to spending money for what is likely our only Trip anywhere in '21, but not all of our friends are financially in the same position we are).
With all that said, whats our best path forward? Do we need to try and find a host to help us, and if so, whats the best way of doing so, or is our group too small to even bother with that route? Who would we check with in regards to getting a block of rooms at some of these hotels? As for interests, We are your general type Vegas visitors, We gamble a little (blackjack mostly ) , Like to run the speakeasies ( Mob Museum and 1923lv @ Mandalay are some fun places we like) and some of the signature bars at the casinos ( Elektra/ The Dorsey At Venetian, Vanderpump At Caesars, Lily at Bellagio, Whiskey Down At MGM, etc) not too much into the Nightclubs ( I'm late 40's people, I'm not the Creepy old dude at the club type). And real talk, we want to make this not only a birthday trip to remember for me, but a Trip to remember for our Friends, some of whom have never been to Vegas before, so they don't know what it used to be like, or what they are missing from the Pre COVID days.
I'm open to any and all suggestions and advice, and yes, I am fully aware that this all may be a moot point even in November with the COVID unknown still lingering. If it isn't safe, we'll cancel in a heartbeat, but it isn't even October yet, so save the "cancel now and stay home" comment trolls.

What would you do if 2020 became a Groundhogs Day loop

Someone else brought up this hypothetical on collapse and figured it was so good needed to be here too. So imagine on new years Eve and the clock strikes midnight and it's now 1/1/2020. How are you reliving this timeloop. Not knowing if it will ever stop repeating unless you do the right thing.
How are you living in this timeloop? Here's my story I posted on collapse. Please share yours!
Well this is fucked. We're never getting out of this timeloop.
Well let's see here. My first year on the timeloop will go something like this:
January 1st as I spend the night as I began 2020 quarantined with the flu (or maybe covid who knows) watching the ball drop at midnight I am shocked to see Ryan Secreast wish everyone a Happy 2020. I'm like wtf I'm not that drunk. Checks the time on my phone. 2020 again fuuuuuck another year of listening to the msm bitch about Trump! Ah yeah and covids coming soon better make a TP, N95 mask and hand sanitizer run and buy that bidet I've been wanting now. Oh yeah and stock up on ammo that's gonna be expensive in a few months.
Alright now time to buy up Stock in Tesla, Disney, Netflix, Amazon and watch them go to the moon before I sell them around the time people start running out of unemployment then cash out and donate it to people in need.
Now that that's taken care of proceed to bet on LSU crushing Clemson in the championship by exact scores. Then fly out to Vegas and party like it's 2019 off my winnings before SHTF. While I'm there might as well put in a bet on a world pandemic happening in 2020 and also that all the casinos in Vegas will close. They'll give me 10,000:1 odds. I'll make an easy 20million off of it come April..... literally betting against Vegas and winning. I'll come back home mid January and while I wait on my big payday I'll put a bet on the Superbowl while I'm at it.
Okay so we're up to early February now. Chiefs just won the Superbowl. Got some more funny money in the pocket to play with. Gonna buy an ebike and dress like a Cyberpunk character so I can roam the empty downtown streets in another month when the lockdowns hit and it's a true ghost town. The virus news is starting to go mainstream but no one's really taking it seriously yet. Wuhan is in lockdown. Vegas chuckles slightly worried....hehe. I decide make a bet with a friend $50 that Trump will name it China Flu and call it a democratic hoax. Plan to buy a 100 piece chicken nuggie platter with the winnings and eat them with my dog just cause we can.
March hits. The chicken nuggies are all gone. Time to start doomer posting about the lockdowns coming and businesses closing and historic unemployment levels about to come. Nothing I didn't already do. Also start a campaign about the coming explosion in Beirut and hopefully it goes somewhere to prevent that shit from happening.
Ok so April rolls around. I'm calling Vegas and they sound like their whole family died in a car wreck when I call to collect my $20 million. Tell them I'm a time traveler from the future and hang up. He'll spend the rest of the year thinking I was. I'll quit my job soon as the check clears and buy an RV and travel the US. I wanna go through Oregon and Cali before they burn. I'll post murals of George Floyd along the route with a BLM sticker on it. Also I'll post Proud Boi posters in every town I visit with a pic of two guys banging. While I'm at it I'll buy up billboard ads in every state that reads "Fish was right".
I'll finish my end of the world tour in early May as the lockdowns have ended and settle on nice ranch I bought with my winnings. Start a doomer cult of the most worthy Doomers of collapse. We will make sour bough bread and donate it to the food banks. We'll preach the gospels of the 350k deaths to come this year of Covid and the Presidential Coup.
Come June my cult will gain even more followers after the George Floyd events unfold and the months of riots begin. All of the murals I posted of Floyd will have lead them to the doomer cult website I made that was posted at the bottom of every mural. Also Rudy Giuliani will get millions of dick pics and gaping asshole pics sent to his email....his email account will be listed below all of the Proud Boi posters. As for "Fish was right". It will be linked to collapse. The sub gets flooded with new followers. We hit 10million within a week. The mods are so desperate for help they hire Satan to help filter out all the spam. He ends up just sending all the shit posters to hell. The subreddit loses 5 million followers within a month. Satan is just happy to have all the souls.
July roles around and it's hot as hell. Satan confirms. Spend the month on the ranch building a giant wooden fish. We're planning the largest doomer gathering that didn't end in mass suicide. We all just do drugs and have orgy's for the month. Of course we keep it safe with 2 covid tests and a week of quarantine before they enter. Everyone shows up with their newly bought camping gear because everyone will become campers now. u/DJdickjob smuggles in the drugs up from Florida. I made him get rid of the heroin crack and meth though. Only the good drugs. The mass gathering was only supposed to last for a month but turns into 3. Summer of love is over.
We all sober up mid October just in time to vote. I remember before the election to copyright the term "270" so I don't have to hear this buzzword a million times post election. We all vote for Bernie Sanders. Realized that we forgot he was screwed again and it was actually the dementia dude running for the ruling elite. That dude wins anyways.
The Election has been unofficially called for Dementia. The doomer cult disperses to put up posters of Rudy Guliana with black goo running down his face. We put a link below that looks like it's a website to donate to Trump's election fraud battle. All the Trumpers donate. They get scammed. All the money goes to black families that need rent and food assistance during the pandemic. Somehow Gulianis email gets flooded again with dickpicks and assgaping. His email wasn't even included this time. 3 weeks later Gulianis head starts to ooze the black goo. We get more donations because of this. They think it's apart of the prophecy for Trump to win. More money goes to help black families. Over $1billion donated by Trumpers. I guess Black Lives really do matter to them after all.
December roles around and Gulianis in a new scandal. Pictures of his gaping ass make it to the front page of cnn. Turns out he ended up emailing a few of the guys back and sending them pictures of his gaping ass with a nazi flag sticking out of it. Trump followers twist it as a sign that he's telling them that the Deep State made the Nazis look bad. That it was all propaganda and that they were actually the good guys. They excuse the gay image as him doing it for the cause and that the thigh highs, nipple clamps and dick cage were symbolic signs of how the deep state has made us weak and submissive. Trumper Q Anons start wearing nazi flags sticking out of their ass in unity to protest against mask wearing. Half of them decide that they like the flags so much that they need bigger flags. Ironically they chose black flags because they're bigger right. Now the Nazi flag Trumpers think that the Black Flag Trumpers are Antifa. They start fighting each other pathetically in the streets until they both Realize that Black Flags do matter and reunite the right. At this point I call it a year and go chill out until Christmas......oh shit I forgot about Nashv.....oh well too late gotta get ready for the last doomer gathering of the year. We're lighting the giant wooden Fish at midnight to see what happens.
Will Fish get us out of the loop?

Part I

It’s June 18th, 2017. There are three days before the National Hockey League’s first expansion draft in seventeen years, and the boardroom of T-Mobile arena, the future home of the Vegas Golden Knights, is buzzing. Months of scouting, speculation on who might be available, and discussions about possible trades are finally nearing their fruition.
Bill Foley, the team owner, steps out to grab another cup of coffee when a thought suddenly strikes him. He works it around in his brain for a second, then runs back into the boardroom. A pro scout who focuses on goaltending is making his pitch to General Manager George McPhee.
“...Well, if we don’t take Grabovski, Jaroslav Halak is available as a potential backu-“
Don’t you DARE speak that bastard’s name to me!” McPhee screams. He quickly snaps out of the PTSD flashback that the goalie’s name inspired and moves on. “We’ll take the centre from them and... what about that Rangers backup instead? That Raanta guy?”
On the whiteboard behind them is a set of handshake deals that they have made, pending registration with the National Hockey League's office.
Anaheim trades: Shea Theodore for Expansion Draft Considerations. (Clayton Stoner)
Columbus trades: 2017 1st, 2019 2nd, jack johnson, for Expansion Draft Considerations (William Karlsson)
Florida trades: Reilly Smith for Expansion Draft Considerations (Jonathan Marchessault) and a 5th round pick
Minnesota trades: Alex Tuch for Expansion Draft Considerations (Erik Haula) and a 3rd round pick
New York trades: 2017 1st round pick, 2019 2nd round pick for Expansion Draft Considerations (Mikhail Grabovski)
Tampa Bay trades: Nikita Gusev, 2017 2nd, and 2018 4th for Expansion Draft Considerations (Jason Garrison)
Winnipeg trades: 2017 1st round pick and 2019 3rd round pick for Expansion Draft Considerations (Chris Thorburn) and Columbus 1st
Foley interrupts the goaltending conversation - this can't wait. "George, can I talk to you quickly?"
They take a sidebar. "George, I just had a thought. These deals you made - you just traded 'expansion draft considerations,' right?"
"Yes, we'll select the player that they want us to."
"But what if you don't? What if you just take whoever you want? Would it be against the rules?"
"I... well...no. Technically we could do that. But it would be dishonest and would make everyone furious at us."
"So? I didn’t buy an NHL team to make friends. I bought an NHL team to win a Stanley Cup, and also to let people know that I went to West Point. Did you know I went to West Point?”
“Yes Bill”
“I trust you George. Now go out there and get me a championship.”

Part II

Tensions are high in the green room on June 21st. General managers are walking in and out to greet and chit-chat with George McPhee and Bill Foley, the newest members of their exclusive fraternity of NHL executives. They laugh and exchange stories: Joe Sakic tells them about the gas leak in the Pepsi Centre that they noticed as soon as the season was over; Peter Chiarelli asks them to give him a call if they draft a right handed defensive defenceman (because that Draisaitl kid isn't really working out); John Chayka asks them if they're hiring. McPhee is having a hard time keeping things light and friendly, knowing that he's about to betray all of these men. Just submitting an offer sheet is enough to get you kicked out of the GM Secret Santa, let alone dishonesty at this level.
Gary Bettman walks into the green room excitedly. “Bill, George, I am so excited for us to get going. Everyone in this building is so energized, I even just saw Evgeny Kuznetsov doing some smelling salts in the bathroom!"
~
The Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is packed with new Vegas Golden Knights fans. The award show itself is highlighted by the best NHL.com intern-written jokes that unpaid can buy. Host Joe Manganiello is dutifully following the Jack Johnson model on stage: he might be bombing out there but boy is he eating up minutes. After Brent Burns finishes his Norris trophy victory speech, and the PA quickly wipes the crumbs and beard hair off the microphone, the time has come for Vegas’ first picks.
"From the Anaheim Ducks, Vegas picks…”
McPhee looks out at the smiling faces in the crowd. He sees Bob Murray, sitting with his plus-one for the evening (Randy Carlyle). He sees Jim Rutherford trying to turn his blaring ringtone off with his screen brightness turned up all the way. He sees Lou Lamoriello, sitting with a slightly less murderous look in his eyes than usual. He knows that the friendships he has fostered with all of these extremely normal and competent people will never recover from what he is about to do. He takes a deep breath.
Josh Manson!"
The Vegas fans go wild. The attached trade is announced too: they have picked up Shea Theodore in exchange for “draft considerations.” The general managers’ faces contort with fury as it dawns on them what has happened. Things only get worse as McPhee and Foley continue to announce their picks.
Instead of taking Erik Haula from the Wild, they take Matt Dumba. And they still get Alex Tuch.
Instead of taking Mikhail Grabovski from the Isles, they take Brock Nelson. And they still get a 1st and a 2nd.
Instead of taking Jason Garrison from the Lightning, they take Yanni Gourde. And they still get Nikita Gusev.
~
After the show, twenty-nine general managers storm the green room with murder in their eyes. Bettman tries to deflate the situation.
“Good evening gentlemen. I understand you’re upset, bu- Wait, where’s Jim Benning?”
“He got stuck in the revolving door somehow. But we have him on speakerphone.”
Benning's voice bellows out of Pierre Dorian's team-issued Motorola Razr.
“That was an embarrassment! A mockery! An insult to everything that hockey is supposed to be! Who even wrote those 'jokes' anyway?! And by the way, the expansion draft was bullshit too!”
Bob Murray’s face is an angrier shade of red than usual. “George you scumbag, we had a fucking deal! We only traded you Shea Theodore so that you would take Clayton Stoner!”
McPhee says “Well actually, Bob, the trade was made for “draft considerations.” And I promise you we really considered taking Stoner.”
The room erupts in anger again.
Garth Snow is irate as well: "You bastard, how could you take Nelson?! Resigning Tavares would've been a sure thing if you had taken Grabovski instead! I can't imagine how this franchise's cap situation could possibly be any worse!" Lou Lamoriello smirks.
Bettman sighs and tries to be diplomatic.
“Gentlemen, I’m sorry, but he’s right. It says in the transcripts of the official trade calls that the trades were made purely for ‘considerations’, not for the selection of specific players. There’s nothing we can do about that. That being said, George, per the NHL’s licensing agreement with EA Sports we will need to confiscate a few of your phones.”
The managers walk out of the room grumbling. On the way out, a confused Dale Tallon says “There's one thing I don't understand: If George went back on all those other deals, why didn’t he take Alex Petrovic from us instead of that Marchessault guy? And he still took that cap dump Reilly Smith from us too! What an idiot.”
~
The Knights’ players were already fired up by their respective teams’ willingness to let them go – now they’re extra motivated by everyone else in the league hating their guts.
Jonathan Marchessault – William Karlsson – Reilly Smith David Perron – Brock Nelson – Yanni Gourde Tomas Nosek – Vadim Shipachyov – James Neal Ryan Carpenter – Pierre-Edouard Bellemare – Alex Tuch William Carrier Brayden McNabb – Matt Dumba Nate Schmidt – Josh Manson Shea Theodore – Colin Miller Jack Johnson Marc-Andre Fleury Antti Raanta
They claim the President's Trophy and the Stanley Cup in each of their first three seasons. The league's general managers conspire to exact revenge on these scoundrels, and all agree that Marc Bergevin should offersheet their best young players, a plan that immediately backfires when Bergevin inadvertently saves Vegas considerable negotiating time and helps them lock up their core at reasonable numbers. The Knights later find a loophole in the salary cap that allows them to add high-salary free agents seemingly at will. After they sweep through the bubble playoffs in 2020, it becomes clear that no other team can compete with them, and TV ratings hit a dismal low. Amid financial uncertainty caused by COVID-19, the National Hockey League officially folds in late 2020. Agent Allan Walsh, desperately trying to secure spots in the KHL for his stunned clients, soberly sums up the feelings of the hockey world:

Breakup over Trump Covid Wedding?! HELP!

EDIT: TRUMP SUPPORTER WEDDING the title is a typo I(29f) don’t even really know where to begin with this, it’s my first time ever posting on Reddit, and thinking about this whole situation aggravates my anxiety. Here I go anyways... hopefully w/o giving too many personal details: More than 6 months prior to Covid my partner(30m) was invited to a wedding set to happen July 4th of this year. This is someone he’s known for a decent portion of his life. Obviously the wedding had to be rescheduled, with no prior knowledge that Covid would still be here to stay. The rescheduled date was set for September 4th, this past weekend. The bride and groom decided to proceed with the wedding on the 4th of September even under the current circumstances. The parties getting married are apparently avid Trump supporters. I’m sure you can already see where this is headed. We recently traveled from the northern part of the West Coast down to Las Vegas and back. Stopping in Northern California on the way down and Idaho on the way back. We drove through about 5 states on our journey. This was an essential trip. We both agreed prior that we would stay home when we got back and quarantine to the best of our ability, going to the grocery store when absolutely necessary. I was under the assumption that because we were making this essential trip that my partner was no longer considering going to the wedding. I was wrong. On the way back to our home state he began tossing around the idea of actually attending this wedding. The state we live in has limited/prohibited events like this. With strict rules such as no cocktail hour or reception. On the date of the wedding we would have only been back from our trip for a week. I voiced my concerns and tried to help him with his decision. Ultimately he decided to attend. He made it very clear to me that he would keep his mask on at all times and socially distance. He also explicitly stated that if the guests (40 plus people) in attendance of this wedding were not socially distancing or wearing masks that he would leave IMMEDIATELY. The day of the wedding arrives and before he leaves he reiterates his sentiments. The length of the wedding was set for 7 hours. Two hours into the wedding I receive a text from him, which is a photo of himself sitting at a table full of people, NOT ONE PERSON HAS A MASK ON NOT EVEN HIM, SITTING SHOULDER TO SHOULDER. I was in shock when I first saw the photo. My shock then turned to absolute fear, which then turned into rage. When I gathered my thoughts I responded with “What are we supposed to do now?”. His response was “What do you mean love?”. I did not respond for quite sometime and instead tried to calm down/ cool off by calling family members for advice. I eventually called him later to figure out what our next step was. When he answered the phone he behaved in such a nonchalant manner it still makes me sick thinking about it. He acted like it was not a big deal and said they had just been eating and drinking, I asked him for how long and he said a half an hour to forty-five mins. He was clearly inebriated at this point. I was able to get it out of him that he and the majority of the guests hadn’t been wearing masks for quite a while. I told him he was not allowed to come back to my home and that he would have to quarantine at his mothers house for two weeks. I could bring him some of his belongings from my house the next day. He then said that was fine and hung up the phone on me.
I assumed that after the wedding he would go straight to his mothers house. NOPE THATS NOT WHAT HE DID. A friend of his who did not attend the wedding picked him up and they drove 35-45mins away to go to a FUCKING CASINO! They were at the casino for THREE HOURS! He then ended up staying the night with his friend. The next day after no communication until mid day when he finally woke up feeling awful I’m sure, he gave me a call. At first he tried to give me some hungover half assed apology. I cut him off and said no don’t even go there. He then proceeded to sort out the collection of his things, he also stated that he would be going to his mothers house after he picked them up.
Hours after the call he came and got his stuff. I packed it for him and left it outside. I did not even want him in the building I live in. He grabbed his things and left.
GUESS WHAT HE DID AFTER THAT?!
DID HE GO QUARANTINE?!
Of course fucking not!!! He went and had LUNCH AT A RESTAURANT WITH HIS FRIEND who he stayed the night with. His friend was also with an acquaintance who did not attend the wedding. I confronted him about GOING OUT TO EAT and putting hard working people in the service industry potentially AT FUCKING RISK! He yet again behaved like it was no issue. He even stated during our confrontation that the reason he took his mask off and did not socially distance at the wedding is because he was “enjoying himself” and felt “comfortable with his friends and that they had made safe decisions prior to attending the wedding”. I asked him if they knew he had previously spent an entire week TRAVELING and had only been home for 7 days. He said yes that he told them and they were completely okay with it. FACE FUCKING PALM!!!!! He then proceeded to spend another night at his friends house that night instead of going to his mothers house to quarantine. We had a phone conversation later in the evening and he was more remorseful than our previous conversations, though he did state that he felt cooped up for too long ( makes no sense) and that is what prompted him to even attend the wedding. “To get out and interact with friends”. Monday morning he finally returned to his mothers but not before a nice stroll around the LARGE NEIGHBORHOOD PARK ON LABOR DAY. Where I’m sure there were plenty of families and children. (Yes I understand it’s a large outdoor area but still GO TF HOME AND SIT THERE!) We had another conversation later this evening while he was at his moms and now he is giving the appearance of being extremely remorseful. He thinks that his actions have been reckless. A part of me thinks that this is bullshit based off of prior behaviors and instances. Of course now when he’s sitting in a room alone with his thoughts he’s remorseful. My frustration is obviously a valid and obvious concern but there is also an underlying issue of his behavior after the wedding and how he treated me in the process. He was rude and dismissive. He seems to only care now that he has to sit in the house for two weeks. His words and his actions are on two completely different ends of the spectrum. I find it bizarre actually. Also this form of apology and remorse is a pattern that has become abundantly clear to me because of this scenario. I don’t know what my next step should be. I feel very awful that he and everyone else at that wedding who acted so carelessly have potentially put MANY PEOPLE AT RISK. I really hope that is not the case but I am terrified of the outcome. I don’t know how to proceed. If anyone has an opinion or any sound advice I would love to hear it. Thank you for listening. Stay safe and healthy.
UPDATE: I cut my losses and broke up with him. He left quarantine 2 days shy of completing the two weeks to go party with his friends. He then proceeded to get upset when I had an issue with this. I’m OVER IT!

Renting a home or buying ? Help please

Adulting need advice
Hello 24F living with parents currently. I have lived on my own in the past (for college). Now I am a full time nurse in NV. I make about 65,000 yearly. I been working for a year with hopes to move out this year; to also purchase a home... things changed bc of COVID. My mother was laid off work, and my father was placed on a temp lay off since he is a casino worker and we reside in Vegas (bars haven’t fully opened yet).
I was hoping to move in with a friend by Dec. Now I am questioning if that is a good idea, since I have been helping with expenses for the house. My mom been searching for jobs its just tough in Vegas rn. Idk if it’s just better for me to save and stay and move into a home that I purchase, or rent with a friend with intent to save as well..... main reason to move is to grow independently, I love my parents but staying at this house ofc means I follow a set of rules which I respect! I am turning 25 in February and I’m questioning if I should just make the move for growth purposes. Ofc even if I leave I would still help my family out financially. Any advice?? I am a first gen American so my whole family aunts and uncles included expect that I stay with my parents till I am married (LOL) which in my opinion is not my goal nor a reality haha. I am also the only child lol

Note: Image of U.S. Supreme Court.jpg) Justice Brett Kavanaugh and Donald Trump is a White House photo, therefore is public domain and holds no copyright liability, and I still hold that it is protected under Fair Use Doctrine.
Brian D. Hill formerly of USWGO alternative news had mailed out a letter to Supreme Court Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh, a associate Justice who was appointed to the bench by U.S. President Donald John Trump in 2018. Brian had asked this Justice under the ‘rule of 4’ to consider his petition for writ of certiorari, and to drain the swamp as Donald Trump instructed people to do.
I received three files from Brian’s mother, one containing a signed scanned document of the letter which was mailed to the Supreme Court in Washington, DC. The second document containing the typed version of the letter without a signature and is easy to search up text. The third document is the scans of a certified mail ticket and return receipt. Document downloads below the images.

Letter to Justice Kavanaugh Letter to Justice Kavanaugh – Scanned Certified mail receipt, return receipt
The letter to Justice Kavanaugh at the Supreme Court has some interesting paragraphs:
“I have proven my case, I have proven my claims. Under the Local Court Rules concerning civil cases which encompasses the 2255 Cases, the other party in a case has three weeks to respond to a motion or it is uncontested. Assistant United States Attorney Anand Prakash Ramaswamy did not respond to a single allegation of Fraud upon the Court against him in those motions in the district court record. It is only by corruption and fiat that I lose. In a legitimate Article III Court I should never have been convicted.” Letter from Brian D. Hill to Brett Kavanaugh – dated July 21, 2020
When the game is rigged, I always lose, no matter what evidence or case law I offer, none of it matters, the law doesn’t matter. A rigged game shouldn’t be in any legitimate Article III courts of our Constitutional republic, yet in my case it was rigged from the start, rigged for my conviction, rigged for either 20 years in prison inflating beyond the statutory 10 years of imprisonment or I falsely plead guilty to get time served, my only choices given to me by my so-called defense lawyer Eric David Placke. How pathetic. That is ridiculous. The whole case was a fraud from the beginning to get me shut down, to permanently not allow me to use the Internet to permanently prevent me from operating USWGO Alternative News at uswgo.com, violating my First Amendment right to freedom of speech and freedom of press by local judicial fiat. Probation is not meant to help me and neither is it meant to be operating under it’s guise to deter crime, it is meant to put me in the system and allow the frauds to continually come after me and make me repeat that I am guilty of a crime that was fraudulently constructed against me by contradictory evidence and a contradictory basis. A system that wants to end my freedom of speech and freedom of press forever.“ Letter from Brian D. Hill to Brett Kavanaugh – dated July 21, 2020
That is scary what Brian is saying. If he is correct then the entire federal court of appeals of the fourth circuit in Richmond Virginia and the entire federal court district in Greensboro, North Carolina has become a “rigged game” where criminal defendants always lose and can never be allowed a criminal defense. Sounds similar to the claims of Roger Stone, a Donald Trump confidant and ally. That sounds totally unconstitutional to even be subject to a rigged trial, a rigged game. That is like being compelled to play a pinball game tournament and you aren’t given a metal ball while your opponent is given 5 metal balls to rack up serious points against you. You can’t win a rigged game. Even in casinos in Las Vegas, NV, those that know of the rigged casinos know that the house always wins and is skewed that way.
The Honorable President Donald Trump appointed judges and Justices to protect our Constitution, law and order, to punish the wrongdoers and bring back the lost Rule of Law. He appointed people like you to Drain the Swamp as QAnon talks about. We are all sick and tired of the blatant corruption within the DOJ and the FBI and the CIA. The corruption that is ruining lives, causing suicides and murders, and are holding our economy hostage with Covid-19, that is Certificate of Vaccine Identification 2019, if that is even the truth, whatever the case may be.” Letter from Brian D. Hill to Brett Kavanaugh – dated July 21, 2020
As to what Brian said about being forced to repeat his alleged guilt, Brian is referring to his false guilty plea where one of his supervised release conditions of federal probation were that Brian D. Hill must attend a offender treatment provider where he must tell them that he is guilty of the crime and wants to victimize the alleged unknown no-victims. When he refused, they attempted to revoke his probation on that offense of not making another false admission of guilt, which violates the 5th Amendment constitutional right against self incrimination. When Brian is innocent, it is even ridiculous that Brian has to explain to the Supreme Court that he was being forced by federal probation to falsely admit guilt or his probation would be revoked.
Luckily his probation officer Jason McMurray vouched that Brian be allowed to continue his federal supervised probation despite his refusal to accept responsibility for the crime that he kept claiming that he was innocent of but had a bad lawyer, the public pretenders who only want plea agreements. The facts alone that Brian was able to prove to the Court system that Anand Prakash Ramaswamy, federal prosecutor, did not contest the allegations of fraud against him show that his guilty plea was caused by a perpetuated fraud of false evidence from the very beginning. Brian contends that he was innocent all along and was fraudulently convicted over fraudulent elements of guilt that were fabricated.
That sound familiar to the case of Lieutenant General Michael Thomas Flynn, where he was told that his son would be investigated or charged with a crime [presumably by usage of prosecutorial fraud like with General Flynn] if General Flynn does not falsely plead guilty to lying to the FBI
Coercion, false threats, or real threats or even promises are some of various reasons why criminal defendants falsely plead guilty in court according to the Innocence Project [mirrored here].
Brian Hill had proven with the publishing of his medical records via the TEACCH papers that he had a mild form of autism spectrum disorder since he was a child. People with autism are more vulnerable to giving false confessions and misleading statements.
It will be interesting to see what Justice Kavanaugh plans to do after reading Brian’s letter. Will he vote in favor of granting Brian’s petition for writ of certiorari under the rule of four?
According to the rule of four, at least four justices must agree to review over the petitioned case in order for the petition to be granted in the United States Supreme Court. After a petition is granted, it normally will be more thoroughly investigated and the original court records of the case may be demanded by the clerk of that court. Once the entire record of the case is transferred to the Supreme Court, it will take time for the staff of the Supreme Court to review over the evidence, arguments, and any other relevant pleadings or paperwork. After the paperwork and materials is reviewed, the Court may schedule oral argument and may even render an opinion as well as precedential case law which will affect all courts throughout the United States in some way, shape, or form. In some cases the court may order and remand back to the lower court and not give an opinion. There are also the majority opinion and even dissenting opinions which could affect future cases and arguments at a later time. At least 5 Justices are needed for a favorable decision when there are a total of 9 Justices sitting on the bench.
My hopes and prayers go out to Brian and his family. Hope that his hard work pays off. God bless America.

Moving to the area in about a year or so...

Looking for insight from some Vegas locals. I'll preface the question by giving as much data as seems salient.
1) No, I'm not moving there for at least 12 months. No worries about my bringing COVID from Florida. Also, I'm used to insanely hot summers, so the heat from June-Sept is no deterrent at all.
2) It will be just myself and the Mrs. - both in our late 40s. No kids, so schools are irrelevant.
3) We will both be working remotely, so home to work commute is a non-factor.
4) I make a comfortable low 6 figure salary, so while I am certainly not wealthy, I can afford something in a neighborhood that isn't downtrodden.
5) We're looking for a single-family home or condo/townhouse in a decent area, 2 or 3 bedrooms. We don't need a ton of space, so we're looking in the 1,000-2,000 sq ft range. I won't spend in excess of $300K, and would prefer more like $250K-$275K so I can pay it off faster and retire.
6) We are decidedly NOT elitists and don't give a tin s#$% about being able to "say we live in Summerlin" (for example.) I'm not the type to pay for name recognition or whatever "status" comes with living in a certain area. I'm far more comfortable hanging out at a sports bar and knocking back $3 Bud bottles than sitting in some hip nightclub, drinking a $1,000 bottle of Grey Goose. I find the latter both wasteful and nauseating.
7) We both like to gamble from time to time, but we're very much the low-stakes type. In other words, I'm not going to be hanging out on the Strip. Give me a $5 blackjack table with a 3-2 payout and a steady stream of beers/well drinks and I'm a happy guy. You are NEVER going to find me at the Wynn playing $20 a hand and getting 6-5. A few locals casinos in the area would be a huge plus.
8) We do like to eat out from time to time - a good steakhouse, some sushi, seafood, Italian, etc. We also get take out pretty frequently. Some options of that ilk nearby would be another huge plus.
9) Pursuant to #7 and #8, we'd prefer not to be in the middle of nowhere to the point that we'd have to drive 20 minutes to get to a good casino or restaurant. I'd like to have a wealth of options close by if at all possible.
10) We're not super active, but do enjoy a nice walk or bike ride now and again, so some parks/trails nearby would be nice. We like to camp/hike occasionally and aren't boat people, so it seems proximity to Red Rock Canyon rather than Lake Mead would be a plus, but certainly not a deal-breaker either way.
Now, I'm aware that threads like this pop up all the GD time. I've read 90% of them, so there's no need to go through the regular motions. I've already gathered - or at least, I've read - some facts about each area. Summerlin, I understand, is very nice and self contained. My only concerns about it are fees out the wazoo, annoying HOAs, and snooty people. Maybe this only applies to certain subsections. This is the kind of info I'm fishing for. Centennial sounds really nice, but kind of far away from most of the action (see #9.) Henderson seems like it might be a good choice, but there seem to be a lot of areas to look into - I still am a little unclear on the differences between Green Valley Ranch and Green Valley South, is Seven Hills part of Anthem, or is the latter its own entity, etc. I believe I've seen enough to rule out the northern and eastern portions of the Metro area. Southwest/Southern Highlands, I haven't read as much about.
I plan to fly out late this year (hopefully after this mess has died down) and check some of these areas out in person to try to get a feel for them, but I'm not sure how much you can gather in a day. I'll find out, I guess. What I'm really asking here is - can anyone tell me what areas it may sound like I'm describing with the facts above? Are there any particular neighborhoods (like Peccole Ranch or Silverado Ranch for example, rather than just "Summerlin" or "Henderson") that I should check out? Thanks so much in advance for your advice/insight.

Has heat changed in Vegas?

For counters who’ve been to Vegas recently, have you experienced any change in the amount of heat you’re getting relative to pre-COVID times?
Specifically, I’m wondering if casinos have become more accommodating of counters bc they just want anyone and everyone at their tables, or if they’ve become more hostile bc they’re even more wary of lost revenue.
Separately, I know that betting mins have been raised in some casinos - have any other rules have become less favorable in any casinos?
Thanks in advance!

Caesars properties mandating masks

Caesars properties mandating masks as of about noon today. Onsite security personnel cited an order from NVGov, but I can’t find a source for that.
https://www.rgj.com/story/news/2020/06/24/caesars-entertainment-requires-all-guests-wear-masks-all-resorts/3252788001/
Guests at Caesars Entertainment Corp. properties will be required to wear masks while inside its properties, effective immediately. The only exception is when employees or guests are eating or drinking, according to a Wednesday news release.
The updated policy applies to all employees, vendors, contractors, guests, and passersby inside the properties. Those who refuse to wear a face covering will be directed to leave the property. Caesars previously only required staff to wear masks. “We are immediately requiring everyone in our properties to wear masks, because the scientific evidence strongly suggests that wearing masks and practicing social distancing may be the most important deterrents to spreading COVID-19 from person to person,” said CEO Tony Rodio in the release.
The policy applies to Caesars’ nine Las Vegas hotel casinos, as well as its properties in Arizona, California and North Carolia. It will also go into effect in properties in Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Illinois and Ontario, once they reopen. The announcement comes just hours before Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak’s 5 p.m. update on Nevada’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Las week, the governor said he had asked his team of COVID-19 medical advisors to review enhanced face covering policies for the state. Nevada’s COVID-19 cases have been on the rise since it reopened casinos on June 4. On Tuesday, the state saw a record one-day jump of more than 400 new cases. As of Wednesday, there have been about 14,000 cases of the virus in Nevada and 492 deaths.
Policies in other states, including California and Washington, have recently been updated to require people to wear face coverings when out in public indoor venues.
On Monday, Culinary Workers Union Local 226 hosted a video conference to discuss casinos’ health and safety policies, saying the rules don’t go far enough to protect workers.
Diana Thomas, a union member and guest room attendant at Caesars’ Flamingo hotel casino, said Monday that she would feel safer at work if guests and patrons were required to wear masks. The union is demanding a handful of new health policies in casinos, including daily cleaning of all guest rooms, mandatory testing of all employees for COVID-19 before returning to work and regular testing thereafter and requiring guests to wear masks in all public areas.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.

DKNG - Fundamental DD Inside - DKNG

This is an example of fundamental DD that takes place at ‘smart’ money institutions based on my professional experience in IBD, Private Equity & most recently at a HF (mods can message me for proof). Not thoroughly fleshed out b/c you autists have limited attention spans, but a summary. Figured I’d take the time to give back to this community that has provided many lolz, & should be a good measuring stick when evaluating other forms of fundamental DD posted here.
NFA.
DKNG - DraftKings, Inc.: vertically integrated US mobile betting operator that also provides retail sports betting & back-end betting solutions through SBTech. Think of SBTech as the tech ‘market-maker’ for traditional sports betting, they do all the funny math to set the betting odds & seem to be working on back-end solutions for DKNG Casino
The Big Picture
Only ~2% of the ~$90Bn gambling revenues were placed online which is the lowest in the world where betting online is legal. For example, in other countries online gaming activity represents ~6% - ~52% of total gambling revenues, with ~12% being the average.
Wall Street expects online gaming revenue to be $20Bn-$40Bn within the next 10 years. For this to be achieved, the online gambling market will have to achieve a ~30% penetration rate on total country gaming revenues. There is an expectation that this is could be easily achievable given penetration trends overseas - see page 11 of this: https://s1.rationalcdn.com/vendors/stars-group/documents/presentations/TSG-Investor-Day_March-27-2019.pdf
Other catalysts include increasing adaptation of sports betting in more states. States that have both legal sports betting + online sports betting permitted: NV, NJ, WV, PA, IA. Sports betting permitted but no online: DE, MS, RI, MO, AR. Prior to COVID there was ongoing discussions across many States, especially ones with growing deficits to explore how permitting sports betting could create a fresh avenue of tax dollars. Post COVID there is an expectation that these discussions will be given extra focus as many States will be hungry for incremental tax dollars. Important to note that currently 43/50 States allow DFS, but given the small share DFS has on total Gaming Revenues, it increasingly looks like DKNG is banking on traditional sports betting for a variety of reasons, more later. There are entire articles on Google arguing this catalyst so I’ll end this here.
Digging Deeper
DKNG’s main offerings are Daily Fantasy Sports (“DFS”) products & traditional sports book products to its clients. Long story short, a metric to look for in my opinion (that is curiously not reported by management or remarked on) is the hold % in traditional gaming sector parlance or the ‘rake’ & compare it to the ‘traditional’ gaming products like sports betting & Blackjack.
For DFS: DKNG takes ~15% of the prize pool (note: used to be ~6-11% [2]). Curiously, their main competitor FanDuel also has moved up to a ~15% rake recently. Google searches show the smaller competitors have a rake in the ~13% range.
This ‘rake’ has grown ~2x in 6 years, but it has been a delicate move on behalf of management. Why? B/c the more ‘sophisticated’ DFS players (equal to autistic day traders on Robinhood) have noted this increase & based on some Googling, some have moved down market to the smaller players. As a side note, many live casino games have their rules altered to grow the Hold %. For example, Blackjack games with 6:5 payouts on 21 have materially higher Hold % than the traditional BJ rules that pay out 3:2. Given the findings so far, DKNG may not have much room to materially increase its hold % in DFS games in the near-term from current of 15%. More on this later.
Now why the fuck is this important? This is important b/c the typical sports book (ex-Parlays) have a ~5% hold %/rake. Parlays have up to a ~30% hold (which is why it’s commonly known as the sucker’s bet), & just for reference, the average Blackjack table clocks in 14.5%. What this means: Every dollar put into these games, the “House” or DKNG, will take 15% of your money for DFS games, for sports bets they will be pocketing ~5%, up to ~30% if you’re into parlays, & we’ll just use the standard 14.5% BJ hold for the DraftKings Casino platform.
So why the acquisition of SBTech & a foray into the traditional sports gambling market? As you can see previously, the illegal sports betting market is >30x the size of the current daily fantasy sports market. So it’s clear that the DFS providers including DKNG are foraying into the space to capture this user base & hopefully convert them into games that have a higher hold %, such as DFS/DKNG Casino.
As of May 2020, DKNG has achieved a 30% penetration rate on its ~4mm ‘monetized’ DFS clientele to its Online Sports Book (OSB), from the OSB+DFS clientele, DKNG has converted 50% into its DraftKings Casino platform.
Including non-monetized users, user base totals at 12mm. Based on these unit economics: every 1mm of additional users -> 333k monetized users for DFS -> 100k users for OSB -> 50k users for DraftKings Casino.
Some Numbers – Italicized/Bolded the important
Numbers that represent Risks to Long Thesis
Things to look for when going Long
- Progress of additional States legalizing sports betting – specifically, States with DFS already legalized
- Cost structure evolving to a more fixed mix vs. the mostly variable mix currently as this will be the forward figure that determines profitability
- Increasing User Base (Curr.: 12mm) -> Monetized Base (Curr.: 4mm) -> MUP (1Q’20: 0.7mm)
Share Price Target
Given the cost structure of the company, I’m going to base the price targets around Enterprise Value / Revenues (driven by MUPs & ARPUs).
Bear Case MUP: 5mm -> $20.32 - $45.73
Base Case MUP: 5.5mm -> $22.27 - $50.10
Bull Case MUP: 6mm -> $24.21 - $54.47
These MUPs imply a monetized customer base of 28mm – 33mm. At the high-end, this implies that DKNG monetized customer base will equal MGM’s current total user base.
At yesterday’s close of $43.70, DKNG is trading at 3.5x – 4.5x forward Revenues on an expected >5,000 MUPs.
Share Price drivers / considerations:
- Continued multiple expansion
- MUP Growth exceeding beyond targets
Management Team
Jason Robins, 39 – Co-Founder & CEO. Duke BA, started DraftKings from day 1 in 2011. The 2 other buddies he started the Company with are still at DKNG. Dude navigated the Company through the scandal that rocked them in ’15 & ’16, and was the trailblazer in getting DFS labeled as a non-gambling product that enabled it to open in States without a gaming designation. This shit is the stuff that gets people in history books. His accomplishments make him seem like a very competent guy. Has 3 kids now, and only ~3% economic ownership in DKNG but has 90% of the voting power through his Class B share ownership. Also he actively participates in venture investments, sitting on 10 boards.
His comp plan performance bonus target is pretty murky, but main drivers are EPS growth, revenue growth, then a bunch of margin & return metrics, along with share price returns. Overall, very open-ended & it’s safe to say as long as shit doesn’t hit the fan, he will be eligible for his max payouts year over year. I’m assuming the lawyers tried to encompass everything possible for maximum flexibility to justify him earning his max comp as long as DKNG is still around.
Since he’s got voting control of 90%, I’ll end the specific-person overview here, but want to note that they have a very bloated C-suite. 12 folks at DKNG, 8 folks at SBTech, all with C-suite designations. Whereas their main competitor FanDuel, has 3 guys with a C-suite designations & 1 EVP, but is a sub under a larger ParentCo that has its own management team of ~5 guys.
Looking through glassdoor you can see the biggest complaint among employees giving bad reviews is based on management, all of the specific issues they point out IMO are a result of a top-heavy company. Seems like a good starting point to optimize their cost structure, but given Robins' history of sticking this entire thing through with his co-founders since '11 stuff like this doesn't seem to be a part of his playbook. They’re a public company now though, so it’s going to be interesting to see going forward.
TL;DR:
If I were to initiate a position in DKNG, the stock would have to fall to the $35-$37 range for me to be a buyer of the stock, and based on this rough intro analysis I'll be considering Put options if it breaches $50. I would not touch Calls at this level.

We understand business owners and drivers don’t have time to sort through all the different news coming out about COVID-19, so TopMark has made a detailed truckers guide to when each state will reopen. Updated regularly, this article will include the newest information on when each and every state plans on lifting or extending their stay at home orders.
The COVID-19 Pandemic has had a massive impact on trucker’s daily routines so we are are here to help out. Check out our COVID-19 Updates section for the latest information as it relates to the trucking industry.

ALABAMA

The current stay-at-home order will remain in effect until April 30.
Alabama Governor Ivey said the state needs to expand its testing before resuming normal economic activity despite being eager to get the state’s economy moving.

ALASKA

On April 24th, Alaska allowed businesses and restaurants to open back up in most parts of the state. These personal services and companies must do so under strict health and safety restrictions.
Bigger cities like Anchorage delayed their partial opening until April 27th.
Additionally, Governor Dunleavy has said citizens may visit their doctors and schedule elective surgeries on/after May 4th.

ARIZONA

Governor Ducey has announced the stay at home order will continue only until April 30th. The state also will allow elective surgeries to continue starting on May 1st.
On the other hand, Navajo Nation’s government will remain closed until May 17th.

ARKANSAS

While there is no exact date, Governor Hutchinson has plans to loosen the restrictions on businesses over the next few weeks. This means certain non-essential businesses will be allowed to operate.
Elective surgeries were allowed to continue on April 27th.

CALIFORNIA

CA Governor Gavin Newsome has not announced any official end to the stay at home order. Despite that, the state has allowed the scheduling of important surgeries like heart surgery or cancerous tumor removal.
The state is limiting the issuing of permits for events and activities for the foreseeable future. On April 13th, the Governor announced the Western States Pact with Oregon and Washington. This pact articulates that these 3 states will operate together in their reopening on when it is safe to do so. Nevada and Colorado have also joined this pact.

Special businesses that offer curbside pick up are now open. Additionally, personal training and dog grooming have been allowed to resume (if they follow social distancing practices). Elective medical procedures have also been allowed to continue.

What A Day: Curious, Georgia by Sarah Lazarus & Crooked Media (04/23/20)

"Why don’t we just put everybody in a space outfit or something like that?" - Stephen Moore, economic advisor to the president and grown man

Mitch Better Have My Money

More than 4.4 million Americans filed new jobless claims in the last week, bringing the reported unemployment total over the past five weeks to 26 million. Faced with those numbers, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has decided it’s time to pump the brakes on any additional economic relief, and possibly force blue states and cities into bankruptcy, reminding us all why he's the most popular politician in America.
In New York, preliminary results from antibody studies indicate that the state’s 250,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus may be just the tip of the iceberg.
Even with unemployment numbers rising by the millions every week, an overwhelming majority of Americans understand that reopening the economy prematurely isn’t the solution. A Politico/Morning Consult poll from last weekend found that 76 percent of respondents felt social distancing measures should continue for as long as necessary. Kemp and reckless Republican leaders like him are ignoring public opinion in addition to national guidelines, and endangering public health.

Under The Radar

Florida has distinguished itself as a nightmarish place to be unemployed. The state is one of the slowest in the country to process its jobless claims, which means hundreds of thousands of unemployed Florida workers have been waiting weeks to receive their first checks, and many haven’t even been able to file their claims. The state agreed to start accepting paper applications this month, after its unemployment website broke down under the volume of traffic. Florida’s GOP leaders have intentionally weakened its unemployment system over the last decade, leaving its workers particularly vulnerable in this crisis: The state’s unemployment benefits max out at $275 a week.
Nearly all of the major battleground states in the 2020 election are experiencing higher-than-average layoffs. In addition to prying more relief funding out of Mitch McConnell’s cold bloodless hands, it will be on all of us to make sure those voters realize that this level of economic fallout, and the broken systems exacerbating it, were preventable.

President Trump’s immigration executive order temporarily restricts some visas, but doesn’t contain the broad freeze on green cards he announced earlier this week.
China pledged an additional $30 million to the World Health Organization after Trump froze U.S. funding. If the U.S. wants to surrender its influence over a key international institution, China is happy to take up that role.
Elizabeth Warren’s eldest brother has died after contracting the coronavirus. Don Reed Herring, an Air Force veteran, died at age 86 on Tuesday.
Las Vegas, NV, workers have pushed back on Mayor Carolyn Goodman’s calls to reopen the city as a “control group,” to see what happens without social distancing. Goodman said she wanted hotels and casinos to reopen quickly, but doesn’t have jurisdiction over the Las Vegas Strip. Goodman also said she wouldn’t go to the reopened casinos herself because “I don’t gamble,” which is (chef’s kiss).
Leaked results from a clinical trial of remdesivir in China showed it carries no benefit for coronavirus patients, though the study ended prematurely because it had too few patients. Other studies are still in progress.
Two cats in New York have become the first U.S. pets to test positive for coronavirus. Health officials emphasized there’s no evidence that pets can transmit the virus to people.
Scientists in the U.K. think dogs might soon be able to sniff out asymptomatic COVID-19 cases. Labradors and spaniels have already been trained to detect malaria, and within weeks, some very good boys may play an important role in identifying coronavirus superspreaders.
The San Clemente, CA, plan to deter skateboarders by filling a skate park with sand has backfired by attracting dirt bikers. The wild BMX bikes have returned to the skate park. Nature is healing.

Be Smarter

In a New York Times op-ed this week, Dr. Richard Levitan described volunteering at New York’s Bellevue Hospital for 10 days. Levitan shared a new insight into what makes COVID pneumonia uniquely dangerous: Unlike most pneumonia patients with very low oxygen saturation (hypoxia), many COVID-19 patients don’t feel short of breath until they’re close to respiratory failure. That seems to be a result of the peculiar way the coronavirus attacks the lungs, and when patients breathe faster and harder to compensate for their “silent hypoxia” without realizing it, their lungs sustain further damage. That may explain why so many patients on ventilators ultimately die: They didn’t get to the hospital until their pneumonia was well advanced. Levitan recommended more widespread use of pulse oximeters to detect hypoxia early.
Since the op-ed was published, pulse oximeters have become impossible to find, which Levitan says is no cause for panic. (Hospitals don't use the same devices, so this isn't an N95 mask situation.) Think of it like a thermometer—something you should probably have in your home eventually.

Questions from the White House Press Pool:
Q1: If there were groups of people planning to protest tomorrow against the government shutdown, what would be your advice?
A1: You’re allowed to protest. Some governors have gone too far.
Q2: Are you considering giving any aid to Iran?
A2: Yes, if they ask for it.
Q3: Which governors have gone too far?
A3: Virginia, on guns.
Q4: Do you hope that a deal may come tomorrow on the small business loan program?
A4: Well, I hope so. We are negotiating with the democrats. We want to take care of our workers. We want to take care of our small companies.
Q5: Do you want the reopening of the US economy to be safe?
A5: Yes. We are starting to open our country.
Q6: Why would the virus suddenly be different?
A6: (Dr. Hahn) I don’t think we have evidence that one would be more susceptible or less.
Q7: Is there a chance of sort of rebounding if you reopen too soon without the type of mitigation efforts that we’ve had still in place?
A7: (Mike Pence) Yes.
Q8: Why did you wait so long to warn people in February about the virus?
A8: I banned China from coming in. There were no US deaths at the time I closed up the country.
Q9: Germany is allowing small stores to open tomorrow. Does this give you confidence that some European countries are on the mend of recovering?
A9: Well, I hope so.
Q10: The mayor of Las Vegas thinks it’s total insanity for business to be shut down in Nevada, which Governor Sisolak ordered. Who’s right?
A10: Well, they shut one of my hotels down too, okay? I’m not involved in that.
Q11: Is the paycheck protection money going to small casinos?
A11: They are looking into it right now because they have small casinos that don’t have too many people, and they’re going to make a ruling, I understand, next week.
Q12: States say they can’t get reagents.
A12: We’re in great shape. It’s so easy to get.
Q13: Will the latest stimulus package have funding for states and local governments?
A13: Well, I don’t want to comment on it, but we will be saving that for another time.
Q14: What is the administration doing to make sure that hotel chains and hedge funds can recover?
A14: Hopefully they’re going to be able to open up relatively quickly.
Q15: Is this really the time for self-congratulations?
A15: I’m standing up for the men and women that have done such an incredible job.
Q16: Should publicly traded companies like Shake Shack, and Quantum Corp, and Ruth’s Chris have access to the PPP program?
A16: Not if they are owned by large franchises.
Q17: Are you concerned that your talk about liberation the second amendment, are you inciting violence among a few people?
A17: They want their life back.
Q18: Have you thought any more about pardoning Paul Manafort or Roger Stone so they’re not exposed to the coronavirus in jail?
A18: You’ll find out what I’m going to do.
Q19: The CDC has finally admitted to profound failures with testing kits from the beginning of the outbreak. Is this a function of lax oversight from the Obama/Biden administration?
A19: Well, it’s not from me. We’ve straightened it out.
Q20: On President Xi, you now talk about the missteps that China made early on in this crisis and how it put the United States. So when you repeatedly praised Xi in January and February you said he will solve the problem. You said he was doing a great job. Where you duped by President Xi?
A20: Well, based on an investigation we’re going to find out. Yeah.
Q21: The first of the month is next week, so for people that are worried about whether or not they’re going to see a stimulus check again next month, will there be another stimulus check?
A21: Well, we’re looking at it, we’re talking about it.
Q22: Do you plan to coordinate with Mexico and Canada to ensure U.S. manufacturers have what they need?
A22: We’re coordinating right now with both. I spoke with the President of Mexico yesterday. I spoke with the Prime Minister of Canada a lot, Justin, and we’re in very good coordination right now.
Q23: The White House announced a congressional task force for reopening America, and included every Republican senator but Mitt Romney. Does that show that you’re still holding a grudge against Mitt Romney?
A23: Yeah, it does. You know, I’m not a fan of Mitt Romney.
Q24: Why on that task force did you include Senator Kelly Locklear? There’s some questions about whether she was involved in insider trading.
A24: Well, that I don’t know.
Q25: Many of the countries that maybe have taken their eye off the ball and let coronavirus let rip in their countries. Which ones were you talking about? The UK?
A25: I don’t say that, but you just have to look. What’s happened to Italy is very, very tough.

Will Vegas Open at the Same Time With the Rest of the Country? Short WYNN, LVS, MGM, PENN

I've been trying to find a yes to this answer and i'm just afraid that I cannot.
I think Vegas opens at a later date then the rest of the country. Once they are able to guarantee the safety of their patrons they will be given the go ahead to open. It’ll definitely be a different environment. If social distancing rules are still in place how does that impact gaming revenues?
International travel bans will need to be lifted which is definitely unlikely for some time.
Will casinos limit the number of players that are able to sit at each table? This will definitely impact table games such as blackjack, roulette, craps, etc if this is the case.
Will slot machines be staggered 6 feet apart from each other?
Macau is only bringing in 20% of the volume that they were seeing pre Covid 19. Is 20% enough to keep Vegas and these large casinos afloat?
How will casinos sanitize each card, each machine, each casino chips in an effort to prevent transmission of Covid 19. It’s with that line of thinking that has been guessing that Vegas opens later than the rest of the country and that’s why I think shorting stocks such as MGM, WYNN, PENN, LVS is an easy bet
